PRESS RELEASE : 31 May 2008  ''NEW SPORTS DIARY HITS THE NET''!

MY TEAM DIARY Communicate Organise Share and Save your sporting life

A new way to record the season and own a history of your sporting life has been introduced by My Team Diary a website where players and coaches can create a personal online diary of their season and save it to look back on.

A menu of diary pages allows them to report on the season in their own words and as they do so they create printable pages which can also be saved on the website. All pages are branded with the team name, club crest and club web link and teams can raise development funds by adding their team sponsors web links to the diary pages.

The features allow you to store match reports, photographs, tournaments, fixtures, squad list, end of season awards, press clippings and much more to form a unique sports keepsake. An

Internet version of the traditional scrapbook My Team Diary is fun to use and adds value to the season acting as a team bonding tool and a way in which to encourage player analyses of the team’s progress. Coaches can send feedback reports from their own diary to the player’s diaries and these reports can be saved by the players. A player messaging feature also allows the coach to update the team with match day or training information and club news.

The diary concept has caught the attention of both the business and sports world with Peter Jones of BBC2 Dragons Den writing in a Sunday Times review ‘’A great motivator for players, providing fond memories for parents and feedback analyses for coaches – This is a winner!’’

And John Scott FA Grass Roots Coach of The Year 2006/7 saying

The website launched on 31st May at The Grass Roots Football Show and over 250 teams from all age groups and across five countries joined in the first seven days. A Free membership offer is running allows 12 months free subscription.
